The update program . . .

In the pursuit of excellence and good stewardship, many Christian churches and organizations wonder if they are in agreement with the various laws and regulations governing registered non-profit organizations. Others have expressed the desire to have an independent opinion as to the quality of their management.

In order to help these organizations meet their objectives, the Quebec Council of Christian Charities has created an update program in order to evaluate subjects of interest.

An expert from the Quebec Council of Christian Charities goes on location and does the update in one day. Following the update, recommendations are made so that the organization can carry out the changes that must be done. After a 3-month period, QCCC does a follow-up to assure that the changes have been made. When everything complies, a "QCCC Attestation" is issued to the organization.

The qualification is carried out as follows; QCCC selects 53 questions out of the whole questionnaire. These vital questions add up to100%. In order to obtain the attestation, the organization must obtain a mark higher than 80%. If the organization does not obtain this mark, it has 3 months to correct the situation so that a "QCCC Attestation" can be issued.
